Vaesen – Free RPG (16+)

In Vaesen, you play as a member of a secret society that investigates and battles mythological creatures such as trolls, giants and fairies in a dark Gothic version of 19th century Scandinavia! This horror-mystery system features quick and simple rules which emphasize player creativity, agency and character development.

I will be running an open campaign for the next several months, featuring a shared castle base to upgrade and a persistent storyline, with players welcome to drop in and out for each fortnightly session. In this introductory session, we'll create characters, build relationships between them, and investigate a short, original mystery inspired by the ghost stories of M.R. James.
